We are looking for dancers who are willing to explore their personal perspective on lived everyday experiences. The project is inspired by life and the multiple roles we take on in our daily routines.

We will transform actions that unconsciously shape and define the way we experience life into poetic images and interwoven narratives. In this way, we will invite the audience to co-exist with us for a while in an alternative parallel reality.

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Have strong technique in ballet and contemporary dance, with the ability to adapt to and integrate various movement tools.

ΜΕΕΤ ΤΗΕ ARTISTS

Ioanna Palamidous' work is deeply influenced by the phenomenological approach to everyday life.

As a dancer, she has collaborated with artists and groups in Thessaloniki, both in full-length performances and smaller, more experimental projects. Her artistic practice is rooted in improvisation, often drawing from somatics as a starting point.

Inspired by her studies, she is particularly interested in how education and the active use of the body through sensory awareness can enhance consciousness. She explores how the human body, as a sensory medium and point of interaction, can create new worlds—real or imagined—through movement while simultaneously being shaped by them.

Based in Thessaloniki, she has been working as a movement and dance teacher since 2020. She enjoys sharing her expertise in various practices and techniques—including ballet, contemporary dance (release technique), the Franklin Method, Pilates, and contact improvisation—through a body-friendly perspective, ensuring that everyone can dance and develop a deeper connection with themselves and, consequently, their bodies. She believes that movement awareness leads to a more conscious way of living as a whole.

Ioanna holds a Master’s in Creative Practice (Trinity Laban, London, 2019–2020), a Master’s in Clinical Neuroscience (UCL, London, 2018–2019), and a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Sciences (Queen Mary University of London, 2015–2018).

Lamarina's work lies in transforming abstract ideas into tangible realities, creating immersive experiences that resonate across various design disciplines.

As an experiential installation designer, she focuses on crafting narratives for interactive performances that influence the surrounding space, generating a multidimensional sensory environment for the audience. With a foundation in design engineering and a strong emphasis on innovation, her skills span from product design to the performing arts.

In her practice, Lamarina draws inspiration from science, mathematics, and the unpredictable beauty of the universe. She views technology as a tool for bringing her projects to life but strives to make it as subtle and organic as possible—like a hidden natural force.

Marina holds a Master’s in Architecture from the Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL), where she specialized in performance and interaction design. She also has a Bachelor’s in Design, Innovation, and Creative Engineering from Queen Mary University of London.
